About Barnfield Sixth Form

September 2011 saw the opening and launch of our brand new Sixth Form! Barnfield Sixth Form operates across 3 campuses to offer an unrivalled selection of AS, A2 and Vocational courses, which allows you to tailor your learning to meet your needs.

We have an extensive list of courses available to choose from.

The majority of our courses are at Level 3 (A-Levels and equivalent) reflecting the aspirations of a vast number of students to continue thier studies at universities and other Higher Education establishments. University admissions tutors and employers look for more than academic and vocational success – they want young people who have a range of outside interests, who show initiative and enterprise, who are involved in voluntary and community activity and who play sport and music.

Barnfield Sixth Form which includes two £30 million state-of-the-art new builds, offers a learning environment where all students have the opportunity to be high achievers, make good friends, contribute to their community and take part in a wide range of extra-curricular activities.

Barnfield A-Level Sixth Form Students do not have to wear a uniform, however we do ask that students where appropriate clothing suitable for a studying / working environment.  Please refer to the Sixth Form Guide for more information.
