Barnfield South Academy opened in September 2007 sponsored by Barnfield College and now forms part of the Barnfield Federation. In under three years GCSE results more than tripled and the Academy is now judged overall as ‘good’ by Ofsted with ‘outstanding’ features.
Education has changed for the better at Barnfield South, firmly rooted in traditional values it is a vibrant, exciting place to learn with a positive ‘can do’ attitude. Our students are achieving in the classroom, on the sports field and among the community.
